The information centre for tourism, culture and experiences for the whole Bergen region.
Location
The Tourist Information has moved temporary to Torget, the Fish Market. Here you will get free advice and help; you can also buy a variety of products and services.
From March 2012 will find Bergen Tourist Information in brand new facilities in Mathallen, located on Torget.
We can offer the following:
Accommodation
At the Tourist Information, you can book all kinds of accommodation: hotels, B&Bs, family and youth hostels or private accommodation in a family home. You can choose between 30 hotels in the city centre and the rest of the region – ranging from small, charming hotels to big chain hotels with excellent facilities.
Currency Exchange / Bureau De Change
We have the best opening hours in the city for currency exchange. You can change most currencies. You can also purchase services and products with foreign currency.
Tickets for sightseeing, fjord tours and concerts
We can help you with good suggestions for sightseeing and harbour excursions in the city, and we sell tickets for all the well-known round trips and fjord tours that depart from Bergen. In fact, many tours start right outside our door!
