CarWalks is an exiting concept and offer to those who are not satisfied just taking in the scenery through the car window. A number of trips have been designed, that combine a car journey with well marked, interesting walks of reasonable lenght. Special walking and hiking sheets with maps and informative texts show you where to go and what to see.

The sheet for the car trip shows clearly where the walks are, and the walks start and end at the car parks. The walks take from 1-4 hours at normal walking pace. Easy to find your way using the maps and information.

The proposed roundtrips are based on the use of your own vehicle. Lenght and duration vary according to geographical conditions. They are designed to be completed in a single day. Travel time is of course dependent on the time spent walking and other stops. If you want to take more than one day to complete the trip, excellent overnight facilities are available. You may choose to complete a part of the trip or perhaps link up two or more trips.

There is one or more walks incorporated in each trip. The walks have the same number as the roundtrip, with the addition of a single letter. Some of the roundtrips cover common territory. Walks in these areas are marked on both roundtrips and with the number of the trip they "belong to".

Each tour - both round trip and walk - has its own sheet. In addition to the map the text tells of places and items of interest along the route. Take the sheet with you to make the walking experience more enjoyable and interesting.
